Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Jonesbororealtycompany is a leading real estate company in the Jonesboro area, dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. We are currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk on a full-time basis.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and submit financial reports as needed
- Monitor and track expenses and assist with budget management
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper accounting procedures are followed
- Respond to accounting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
