Position Title: Outside Service Attendant

Department: Golf Operations - Coosaw Creek Country Club

Prior golf course experience is preferred, but not required

Summary of Position: This is an outdoor service position that assumes the role of golf cart maintenance, driving range maintenance, bag drop supervision, customer service, and bag storage maintenance. Other duties include ball washer maintenance, cart barn organization, cleanliness within a 100-yard radius at all times, and constant communication with Pro Shop staff.

Supervisors This position will work in conjunction with the Golf Shop Staff and will report directly to the Head Golf Professional.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exceptional Customer Service to all Members & Guests
  • Greeting/Welcoming of all members and guests
  • Bag Drop service for all members and guests
  • Club cleaning services on 18th green
  • Staging and storing of golf cars
  • Cleanliness of golf cars (floorboards, tires, seats)
  • Proper equipment in golf cars (tees filled, pencils, scorecards, towels, sand bottles filled, bag straps looped in, filled with gas)
  • Proper care of golf cars (parked neatly, organized, steering wheel straightened) Complete maintenance of driving range and practice facilities
  • Retrieval of range balls from areas alongside of the driving range
  • All trash removal from pro shop, cart barn, and driving range areas
  • Properly stacking/displaying range balls for practice
  • Maintenance and supervision of putting green and chipping areas
  • Sand bottle supervision off #10 tee (checked and refilled every hour)
  • Cleaning of all practice balls (through the ball washer) prior to stacking
  • Ball washer maintenance and cleanliness (drainage of old water and debris, refilled with new water and detergent)
  • Facility cleanliness
  • Trash can maintenance (every hour)
  • Club cleaning and storage
  • Pull cart storage
  • Assisting all members & guests in need of assistance
  • Bag room maintenance and cleanliness
  • Golf Car Storage Facility maintenance and cleanliness Necessary Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Exceptional Customer Service
  • Knowledge of how to operate a motorized vehicle (valid Driver's License)
  • Knowledge of how to operate a hand held radio
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of daily duties
  • Ability to work in a safe and secure environment at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members
  • Establish and maintain an effective relationship with employees and members
  • Understand and carry out written and verbal directions in a timely matter

Tools and Equipment Used Motorized vehicles and equipment, including golf cars and a range picker. Other equipment used includes ball washing machine, communication devices, hoses, brooms, and other maintenance tools.

Work Environment While performing the duties of the job, employees will work in an outdoor setting. Employees will occasionally be asked to work inside to perform various tasks. Professional and courteous work environment must be maintained at all times.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
