Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Regional Welder to join our team in South Bend, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and integrity of our metal fabrication processes. -Travel is designed to be at home nights/weekends

-Travel pay, per diem, and a company vehicle are provided

-More information surrounding the logistics will be given throughout the interview process

All expereince levels are encouraged to apply. Our company is based out Louisville, KY and we are looking for someone to handle the northern territory of our East District. If you are not directly located near South Bend you are still encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on various materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and production goals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environmental conditions.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
