This is a very nice antique sextant made by J. Scott in the 1930s and 1940s. It is in excellent condition and comes with its original wooden box. The telescope is a brass sextant with a mahogany wooden box. The telescope has a focal length of 6 inches and a focal ratio of f/4. It is a refractor type sextant with an achromatic objective lens. The telescope also comes with two extra telescope lenses, one for each side of the main telescope. The lenses are in good condition and have a focal length of 3 inches and a focal ratio of f/12. The sextant and extra lenses are in excellent condition and are fully functional. The wooden box has some wear and tear due to age, but is still in good condition. This is a beautiful and rare antique sextant that would make a great addition to any collection.
