Milward Point Presser and Clapper: Beech Wood

Use this dual-purpose tool to iron perfect pleats, flatten bulky linings and create perfectly sharp collar edges. The flat bottom (flap) is used to create clean, flat seams and overlaps and makes it easy to pleat. Apply the flap directly after steam ironing and press firmly for 10-15 seconds. The flap will absorb steam and secure the fold or seam. Use a pointed handle (presser) to iron hard seams such as collars, tips and tight, hard-to-reach corners. Place the ironing corner open and flat, with the tip inwards and use a steam iron to open the seam. Turn the corner and repeat the process to form the perfect stitch.
